Obasanjo calls for collaboration to prevent political violence

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should have recognized Nafiu Bala Gombe as the ADC National Chairman. Wike also declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would present a presidential candidate in 2027. Additionally, the Labour Party (LP) has set April 28, 2026, for its presidential primary, while the Commission explained the need to revalidate voter cards ahead of the 2027 general elections.
