Obituary: Death of Professor Aurore Sara Balepa

The Cameroonian academic community is mourning the death of Professor Aurore Sara Balepa, who passed away on April 19, 2026, at Laquintinie Hospital in Douala. A former head of the Geography department and vice-dean at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Douala, her passing leaves a significant void among students.
