The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed the election of David Mark and Aregbesola during a July 29 meeting, according to a lawyer representing the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The Nasarawa State chapter of the ADC has scheduled its state congress for April 11. Additionally, the Federal High Court in Abuja will deliver a judgment on April 13 regarding another suit seeking to remove Mark and Aregbesola from their positions in the ADC.
