Ogun East: Daniel dares gov Abiodun, picks nomination form despite adoption

Otunba Gbenga Daniel, the senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, picked up a nomination form despite the APC's adoption of Governor Dapo Abiodun as its consensus candidate for the 2027 elections. Daniel, a former governor and current senator, was allegedly denied access to the meeting that adopted Abiodun. Nevertheless, he expressed his intention to continue representing the district in the Nigerian Senate.
