Okpebholo's roads and sceptics’ hearts

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has focused on road infrastructure as a central element of his administration. His government has adopted a three-part model, decentralizing construction capacity to local councils, establishing a rapid maintenance system, and reserving more complex projects for established construction firms. Earlier this year, 54 units of construction equipment were handed over to the 18 local councils to support this initiative.
