Navy recovers 92,660 litres of illegal diesel, disrupts oil theft network in Rivers

Operatives of the Nigerian Navy recovered 92,660 litres of suspected illegally refined Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) concealed in 138 sacks along creeks in Rivers State during Operation Delta Sentinel. Navy spokesman Captain Abiodun Folorunsho stated that the recovery followed credible intelligence and coordinated surveillance. The products were handled in accordance with regulations, denying criminal networks access to resources. The Navy reaffirmed its commitment to intelligence-driven operations to combat crude oil theft in the Niger Delta.
