Osun 2026: Defection no threat to our party chances - APC chieftain

APC chieftain Olatunbosun Oyintiloye stated that the defection of some party members in Osun State does not threaten the party's structure or electoral prospects ahead of the August 15 governorship election. Several loyalists of Senator Iyiola Omisore resigned from the APC last week and may join Governor Ademola Adeleke's re-election campaign. Oyintiloye insisted that the APC is bigger than any individual and that its support base remains strong.
