Osun APC accuses Accord Party of spreading falsehood on pre-election violence

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State accused the Accord Party and some members of the National and State Assemblies of spreading false allegations of violence ahead of the August 15 governorship election. In a statement, the party's Director of Media, Kola Olabisi, rejected claims linking candidate Bola Oyebamiji and former governor Adegboyega Oyetola to violent acts. The APC stated that the allegations were meant to sway public opinion and distract from the challenges faced by their political rivals. The party reaffirmed its commitment to peaceful and lawful campaigning.
