According to a report by the NGO Badilika published on July 13, 2026, more than 200 civilians were killed and hundreds more wounded, abducted, or displaced between April and June 2026 in the territories of Beni, Rutshuru, Masisi, and Walikale in North Kivu. ADF rebels are responsible for nearly 90% of the massacres, mainly in the Beni territory.
