2027: Wike-backed PDP disowns Ibadan summit, rejects coalition deal

The faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aligned with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has disowned the opposition summit held in Ibadan, stating that attendees did so without authorization. National Publicity Secretary Hon. Jungudo Haruna Mohammed emphasized that the PDP will not enter any coalition requiring the adoption of another party's presidential candidate ahead of 2027. He also warned that discussions with aggrieved PDP members are occurring outside the party's official structure.
