Oyebanji suspends night vigils after Ekiti attack

Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has ordered the suspension of night vigil programs in churches across the Eda Oniyo community following a deadly attack that resulted in the death of a pastor and the abduction of about 15 worshippers. During a sympathy visit, he pledged to enhance security and work towards the release of the victims. Oyebanji also urged residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with authorities to combat the rising insecurity in the area.
