Oyo abduction: No abducted schoolchild has died in captivity – Police

The Oyo State Police Command dismissed reports claiming that one of the pupils abducted during the attack on schools in Ahoro-Esiele died in captivity. Spokesperson DSP Ayanlade Olayinka described the report as false and misleading, warning that false information could jeopardize rescue efforts. The police cautioned bloggers and media outlets against publishing unverified security-related information.
