Oyo: Four-classroom block collapses in Ogbomoso Grammar School

A four-classroom building at Ogbomoso Grammar School in Oyo State collapsed on Thursday during a heavy downpour. The building, which had been distressed and abandoned, did not cause any injuries. A teacher noted that lack of funds prevented maintenance of the building, which had begun to show signs of deterioration. Many schools in the Ogbomoso geopolitical zone were also affected by recent rains.
