Police urge motorists to verify TraffiTech-GH notices before paying fines

The Ghana Police Service has urged motorists and vehicle owners to authenticate traffic violation notices issued through the TraffiTech-GH automated system before paying, to avoid fraud. Commissioner of Police Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director-General of the Public Affairs Unit, said motorists should follow approved procedures to verify notices and settle fines. TraffiTech-GH, a project to automate enforcement of road traffic laws and regulations, officially took effect on November 1, 2026.

Traders Attack Edo Consumer Protection Committee Members During Fake-Product Enforcement

Beverage sellers attacked members of the Edo State Consumer Protection Committee, led by Osaro Culture Iyamu, on Thursday during an operation against fake, adulterated and unauthorised drinks on Mission Road in Benin City.
