Katsina confirms new Lassa fever case as death toll rises to three

The Katsina State Government has confirmed a new case of Lassa fever, bringing the total to four recent infections, with three fatalities. The confirmed cases were identified in Funtua and Dan Musa local government areas. Health authorities traced 44 individuals who had contact with the infected patients, with 37 having been discharged after the monitoring period.
