Ebola outbreak in DRC and Uganda declared a global health emergency

The World Health Organization has declared the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda a global health emergency. It warns that the outbreak could be much larger than what has been detected so far. Countries are advised to activate national disaster mechanisms and introduce cross-border and internal screening.
