Ukraine accuses Russia of striking a Chinese ship on the eve of Putin's visit to Beijing

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russian forces of striking a Chinese cargo ship, the KSL Deyang, in the Black Sea near Odessa on the night of May 18. The attack also affected two other civilian vessels, causing small fires. This strike comes as Vladimir Putin travels to China to strengthen the strategic partnership between Moscow and Beijing, with no official response from Beijing at the time.
