Crowdfunding in CEMAC: Cosumaf prepares a new funding window for SMEs

The Central African Financial Market Supervisory Commission (Cosumaf) plans to introduce crowdfunding in CEMAC to facilitate SMEs' access to capital markets. In its 2026 priority actions note adopted on April 1, Cosumaf included the operationalization of crowdfunding as a key project. This mechanism will allow businesses to raise funds through a digital platform while ensuring savings protection and platform supervision.
