Tinubu orders comprehensive audit of IPPIS to weed out ‘fake agencies, ghost workers’

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered a forensic audit of federal government systems, overseen by Finance Minister Taiwo Oyedele. This audit, following a Federal Executive Council resolution, will review IPPIS and government agencies to identify weaknesses and fraud, including ghost workers. It will include an analysis of internal controls and the processes for recognizing government entities.
