Pay of civil servants in DRC: IGF denounces a 'fragmented' system and recommends digitalization

The Inspectorate General of Finance (IGF) presented the first provisional results of the audit of civil servants' payroll liquidation statements to Prime Minister Judith Suminwa on June 5, 2026. The payroll management system is deemed fragmented and poorly integrated, with multiple stakeholders. The IGF recommends creating a single, digitized system to correct anomalies and strengthen control. Fieldwork will begin Monday in personnel management services.
