Parents protest non accreditation of dentistry programme in UNIUYO

Parents of dental students at the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) protested the lack of accreditation for the dentistry program, warning that over 125 students risk being stranded academically. They expressed their dissatisfaction by holding placards and noted that the program has operated for five years without accreditation from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria. The Chairman of the Forum of Parents stated that the students have invested years of academic effort and should not be left stranded.
