PFN declares 3-day fasting, prayer over insecurity, 2027 fears

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has declared a three-day fasting and prayer program from May 22 to May 24, 2026, to seek divine intervention amid worsening insecurity and political uncertainties ahead of the 2027 elections. The program aims to promote peace, healing, and national stability in response to persistent violence and economic hardship. The PFN has called on churches and believers to actively participate in this spiritual exercise, which will coincide with Global Pentecost Day.
