A US$5 million grant from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) enabled WHO to sustain uninterrupted dialysis services for 5568 patients across 62 centers in 12 Sudanese states. The project procured 60 dialysis machines, 60 chairs, six water treatment units, and provided 230,000 dialysis sessions along with essential medicines and supplies. Implemented from June 2024 to February 2026, it strengthened decentralized dialysis capacity and supported human resources. Sudan's Federal Minister of Health Dr Haitham Mohammed Ibrahim thanked KSrelief and WHO for this life-saving support.
