Police arrest 16 suspected cultists at Ibadan poly

The Oyo State Police arrested 16 suspected cultists, members of the Aiye Confraternity, on the Polytechnic Ibadan campus. The operation, led by Commissioner of Police Abimbola Olugbenga, resulted in the recovery of dangerous weapons, including pistols and cartridges. The suspects, comprising 14 males and 2 females, had been under surveillance for their involvement in murders and cult-related activities. The investigation is ongoing to identify other fleeing accomplices.
