Police conduct targeted operations to dismantle kidnap, criminal networks in C'River

The Commissioner of Police in Cross River State, Rashid Afegbua, disclosed that discreet and targeted operations are underway to dismantle criminal networks, including kidnap gangs. These operations are intensified in sensitive areas such as Calabar, Akpabuyo, and Ogoja, aiming to combat kidnappings, cult activities, and armed robbery. Meetings with traditional rulers and community leaders are also being held to strengthen collaboration on security.
