Police launch manhunt after bandit attack in Katsina

Katsina State Police Commissioner Ali Umar-Fage has ordered a manhunt following a bandit attack in Jeka da Kolo and Kwalgoro villages that resulted in 11 deaths. Previous operations had successfully recovered 205 animals during a cattle rustling attempt. Umar-Fage described the attack as "cowardly and barbaric" and assured that those responsible would be tracked down and prosecuted. Additional tactical teams have been deployed to strengthen security in the affected communities.
