Police repel Boko Haram/ISWAP attacks in Borno

The Borno State Police Command confirmed it successfully repelled coordinated attacks by suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters in Nganzai and Damasak. The first assault occurred at the Nganzai police station, resulting in the deaths of four police personnel. A second incident targeted the Mallam Fatori IDP camp, where one local hunter was killed and numerous houses were destroyed.
