Port-Bouët: NGO International Merits Launches Activities with British Ambassador

On Wednesday, June 4, 2026, the NGO International Merits (OMI) officially launched its activities in Port-Bouët, Côte d'Ivoire, in the presence of British Ambassador John Marshall. Founded in 1956 in England by Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II, the NGO offers a program for youth aged 14-25 centered on four pillars: altruism, sports, culture, and expedition. National Director Zangré Draman outlined the organization's history, while the ambassador praised the initiative as a celebration of excellence and hope. The ceremony also honored local figures, including Mr. Doucouré, founder of Collège Saint-Cyr.
