US Decision on Participation in Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games

The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) has confirmed its athletes' participation in the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) to be held in Dakar in 2026. This decision followed a seminar of national Olympic committees, where the American delegation was impressed by the preparations and the commitment of the organizing committee led by Mamadou Diagna Ndiaye. The YOG, reserved for youth aged 15 to 18, will take place from October 31 to November 13, 2026, in the cities of Dakar, Diamniadio, and Saly.
