Presidential Election in Benin: Irregularities Reported by Civil Society Platform (VIDEO)

The electoral platform of civil society organizations in Benin reported several irregularities during the presidential election on April 12, 2026. Among the 1,771 observers mobilized, early openings and delays were noted in some polling stations. Cases of ballot stuffing and multiple voting were also reported, with 109 alerts recorded. Despite these irregularities, the presence of polling station members was deemed compliant in 98.38% of the observed locations.
