Ondo APC Primary: thugs attack Senator Adegbonmire at polling unit

Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire narrowly escaped an attack by armed thugs during the APC senatorial primaries at Okilisa Ward 5 in Akure. The assailants fired shots and attacked the senator's vehicle as he was leading the vote count. Adegbonmire described the process as a 'complete charade' and reported similar incidents in other areas where his supporters faced intimidation.
