The Duchy of Cornwall, which provides a private income of over £20m per year to the Prince of Wales, will sell off 20% of its property over the next ten years. The £500m raised will be invested in local communities, including affordable housing and environmental projects. Prince William expressed his desire to focus on social impact and announced a project to provide 12,000 homes by 2040, with a third of these being affordable.
