Private jet crash in Dominican Republic: 2 dead after in-flight failure en route to Austin

A Gulfstream G200 Galaxy crashed on June 7, 2026 at La Romana airport in the Dominican Republic, killing the pilot and co-pilot. The aircraft was on a charter flight to Austin, Texas, after a refueling stop. The crew reported technical issues and declared an emergency 16 nautical miles from the airport before the crash. Aviation authorities (IDAC and CIAA) have launched an investigation.
