Mobile Phone Prices: Major Changes Announced for Senegalese Customers

A joint study by ARTP and ANSD reveals an overall 10.9% reduction in mobile service prices in Senegal. Orange Sénégal recorded the largest drop in Q1 2026, with a 17.2% quarterly decline, especially in data segments (up to -44.4%). Yas Sénégal reduced prices by 1.8% over the same period, driven by heavy data users. These changes reflect increased competition and a reorganization of offers around data.
