PS Bitok Confirms June 24 Half-Term Break Amid Student Protests

Basic Education Principal Secretary Julius Bitok confirmed that schools will break for half-term on June 24 as scheduled, despite student protests and calls for an early break. He stated that the school calendar remains unchanged, noting that only 80 schools (less than 1% of 9,500) have been closed due to unrest. The Ministry has deployed 400 quality assurance officers for inspections.
