Substituted Pulisic plays down injury concerns after 4-1 win

United States forward Christian Pulisic downplayed injury concerns after being substituted at halftime of the 4-1 win over Paraguay in the 2026 World Cup opener. He said he received a kick to the back of his leg and the substitution was precautionary. Coach Mauricio Pochettino confirmed Pulisic was taken off to avoid risks. The US will face Australia and Turkey next.
