2027: Wike says PDP members across all states must support Tinubu

Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike says PDP members in every state must support President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general election. Speaking in Rivers State at the unveiling of the Rainbow Coalition’s preferred candidates, he said the position had been agreed with the PDP’s National Working Committee. Wike cited INEC’s recognition of Mao Ohuabunwa as Board of Trustees chairman and Abdulrahman Mohammed as national chairman, saying only they and he could speak for the party. The coalition named Kingsley Chinda as its preferred Rivers governorship candidate, and Wike said the state was united behind Tinubu.
