Côte d’Ivoire: Lions Club Abidjan Akoben launches “Passer’Elles” to promote women’s mentoring

Lions Club Abidjan Akoben presented “Passer’Elles” in Abidjan-Cocody on October 16, 2026. The initiative aims to connect girls and women—particularly those shut out of traditional mentoring networks—with experienced women who can share advice, experience and contacts. Project coordinator Anne-Marie Balle Ndiaye said activities will begin in San Pedro on November 27, followed by a gradual rollout in other inland cities. Club president Justine Tayou Diouf described mentoring and intergenerational knowledge-sharing as ways to promote empowerment and success.
