Ivory Coast: A Shower of Medals for the 55th Anniversary of LONACI

To celebrate its 55th anniversary, the National Lottery of Ivory Coast (LONACI) awarded decorations to nineteen of its staff on April 30, 2026, at the Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan. Three leaders, including Youssouf Fofana and Dramane Coulibaly, were promoted to the rank of Commander. Minister Mariatou Koné emphasized LONACI's importance as an economic lever, with revenue increasing from 50 billion CFA francs in 2015 to over 665 billion in 2025.
