Two Charged After CMA Flags Unlicensed Investment Scheme

Two women have been charged at the Milimani Law Courts for operating a collective investment scheme without a CMA license between January 1 and September 17, 2026. They are accused of fraudulently encouraging the public to invest in securities through misleading statements. The two denied the charges and were released on a Ksh200,000 bond. This case follows a CMA warning about 15 investment platforms operating without licenses.
