Cut VAT, Abolish Ksh7 RDL to Lower Fuel Prices to Ksh187, Ndindi Nyoro Tells Ruto

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has written an urgent letter to the National Assembly seeking legislative amendments to lower fuel prices below Ksh190 per litre. He proposes cutting VAT on fuel and abolishing the Ksh7 Road Maintenance Levy introduced in 2024, which could reduce the price of super petrol to about Ksh187. Nyoro also suggested using the Fuel Stabilisation Fund to lower diesel costs.
