Benin: What to remember from Wadagni's stop in Dakar – La Nouvelle Tribune

Beninese President Romuald Wadagni arrived in Dakar on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, the first leg of a diplomatic tour in West Africa. Welcomed by Senegalese counterpart Bassirou Diomaye Faye, he held a one-on-one meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties, economic and financial cooperation, and regional security challenges. This visit is part of the UEMOA, as the three countries visited (Senegal, Mali, Guinea-Bissau) share the CFA franc and are under the BCEAO.
