Algeria: World Cup Effect? Sister Bahlouli Will Play for the Greens!

Nesrine Bahlouli, 23, who plays for Al-Nassr, has decided to represent Algeria after previously playing for France's youth teams. She will strengthen the Algerian women's team led by Farid Benstiti for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil. She is the sister of Farès and Mohamed Bahlouli, who play for US Biskra, and was trained at OL Lyonnes, with stints at AC Milan and Bordeaux. She follows in the footsteps of Célina Ould Hocine, who also switched her sporting nationality to Algeria in September.
