BREAKING: Alison-Madueke cleared of all charges in UK court - Daily Post Nigeria

A UK court has cleared former Nigerian Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, of bribery charges. A jury at Southwark Crown Court in London found her not guilty on all six counts of bribery and conspiracy to commit bribery after more than 46 hours of deliberations. Alison-Madueke, who served from 2010 to 2015 under President Goodluck Jonathan, was accused of accepting bribes for oil contracts. She maintained her innocence throughout the trial, denying any influence over contract awards.
