Benin: From Cotonou to Parakou, Several Areas Will Experience Power Outages on September 24 – La Nouvelle Tribune

Power outages lasting up to five hours will affect several localities in Benin on September 24, 2026, from 10 am to 3 pm, due to scheduled maintenance work by SBEE. The outages will impact areas from the south to the north, including Ouidah, Abomey-Calavi, Porto-Novo, Lokossa, Pobè, as well as Parakou, Dassa, Natitingou, Djougou, Bohicon, and Kandi. Some neighborhoods in Cotonou will experience outages from 10 am to 2 pm or 11 am to 2 pm. SBEE advises residents to treat all electrical installations as energized during the work and to make necessary arrangements.
