Former Olympique de Marseille player Stéphane Mbia revealed in an interview that he was not selected for the final phase of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations after taking part in the qualifiers. He believes he deserved a better exit from the Cameroon national team, as the new coach made it clear he would not count on him and he was never called up again.
