Senate approves ₦50m for families of security personnel, teachers killed in Oyo rescue operation

The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday approved a ₦50 million donation to the families of five individuals killed during the rescue operation of abducted schoolchildren in Oyo State. The resolution, proposed by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, was unanimously adopted. Each family will receive ₦10 million. The deceased include Lieutenant F.A. Isaac, Private Silas Musa, Sergeant Abena John Jerome, and teachers Deacon John Olaleye and Michael Oyedokun.
