California county scam ad lawsuit adds to mounting Meta legal woes

Santa Clara County in California has filed a lawsuit against Meta, alleging that the company profits from scam advertisements generating $7 billion in annual revenue. The lawsuit claims that Meta facilitates and monetizes deception by not effectively blocking suspicious ads, merely flagging them instead.
