Several neighborhoods in Mbuji-Mayi left in the dark after the collapse of two electrical pylons

For three days, several neighborhoods in Mbuji-Mayi, Kasaï-Oriental, have been without electricity following the collapse of two high-voltage electrical pylons after heavy rain. The incident occurred in the Kakangayi sector, also causing outages in nearby towns such as Miabi and Kabeya-Kamuanga. Provincial authorities and the National Electricity Company (SNEL) are mobilized to restore power supply.
