C64 conditions its participation in dialogue on the renunciation of the constitutional revision project

The C64 Coalition conditions its participation in any political dialogue and the suspension of its citizen actions on President Félix Tshisekedi publicly and definitively renouncing his constitutional revision project. The coalition argues that the project divides the nation and that the Congolese crisis is systemic, not reducible to the armed conflict in the east. Jean-Marc Kabund, speaking for the C64, stated that the war is a consequence of the crisis, not its cause. Burundian President Évariste Ndayishimiye encouraged political dialogue and national cohesion during his exchanges with the coalition.
